B&M has confirmed it is moving one of its existing Kidderminster stores to the sprawling former Debenhams unit.
The discount retailer said its store at the Swan Centre will relocate to Slingfield Mill - the former Debenhams unit at Weaver's Wharf retail park.
It said the new shop, which will boast an even bigger selection of bargains from grocery, toiletries and health and beauty to toys, homeware, and DIY, will be at "a much bigger and better site" which is only a stone's throw away.
The store on St George's Mall at the Swan Centre store will shut its tills for the final time on Saturday May 25, with the new site opening at 8am on Thursday May 30.
B&M said the move comes following feedback from regular shoppers, who said they wanted a bigger shop and more products.
The store manager at B&M Kidderminster, said: “We wanted a bigger and better store for our customers, giving them even more big, branded products.
“We hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store, we’re really excited to get the doors open very soon.”
B&M has signed a ten-year lease on the former Debenhams unit, site owner LCP said.
The retailer has another store at Kidderminster Industrial Estate of Spennells Valley Road.
The former Debenhams shop closed for good back in 2020.
