AN Indian restaurant and cocktail bar which recently opened in Stourport is celebrating after receiving a five-star food hygiene rating.

Wall 2 Wall on Lombard Street was awarded top marks by the Food Standards Agency, following an inspection earlier this month.

The restaurant's offering is described as a "kaleidoscopic showcase of Indian tapas and street food". There is a sister Wall 2 Wall restaurant in Kidderminster.

Business manager Amarjit Singh said: "Our motivation is to offer the best quality of food and service to all our guests.

"We are extremely thankful to all our guests for all their support and patience, to all our staff members that have been involved in all activities including builders, plumbers, electricians, gas engineers that have given us the certificates and the licences with the authorisations, to have everything right on time and dated.

"We are welcoming all the guests to take part in our journey".
