Kidderminster residents are set to take to the polls today for the town council election.
The polling stations open at 7am today (Thursday, May 2) with all 18 seats up for grabs.
Each of the six wards is made up of three seats with residents able to vote until 10pm.
The wards include Aggborough and Spennells, Broadwaters, Blakebrook and Habberley South, Foley Park and Hoobrook, Franche and Habberley North and Offmore and Comberton.
Residents will also be able to vote for the police and crime commissioner for West Mercia.
Local elections are taking place in 107 authorities across England with more than 2,600 council seats up for grabs and 37 police and crime commissioners across England and Wales to be chosen.
In order to vote, residents are being reminded to bring along an acceptable form of photo ID.
There are 22 forms of ID voters can bring including a driving licence and passport.
