A MAN from Kidderminster has been charged following a spate of burglaries at town centre takeaways and other businesses.
Shane Hodgkins, of no fixed abode, has been charged with nine counts of burglary.
He was arrested by West Mercia Police officers yesterday (Wednesday, May 1).
The 26-year-old is charged with nine counts of burglary in relation to theft from the town’s Ruby Chinese takeaway, Kin Yip Chinese takeaway, Fortune Chinese takeaway, Angel Nails, Foley's Fish Bar, Habberley Club, Lai's Garden Chinese takeaway, Vantage Pharmacy and Goodness Gracious CBD shop.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday May 2).
