Popular TV character Hey Duggee is set to entertain guests at the Severn Valley Railway this June.
Families are expected to flock to the popular heritage railway on the weekend of June 8 and 9 for a chance to see the much-loved character.
The festive day will also include a trip on a heritage train to The Engine House, Highley, where Hey Duggee will be appearing at regular intervals throughout the day.
Visitor engagement manager, Lewis Maddox, shared his excitement for the event, as he said: "This will be the first ever appearance at the SVR for Hey Duggee, and we can’t wait to see him.
"This is a chance for parents and grandparents to create special memories with their young ones as they travel on board a heritage train to The Engine House, Highley, where Duggee will be waiting to meet them in their pre-booked time slot."
In addition to meeting Hey Duggee, children can look forward to playing in an outdoor area, sorting mail in the travelling post office, watching magic shows throughout the day, and enjoy a round of mini golf.
Families are assured of a seat on a heritage train to Highley, where they will be able to meet Duggee in their pre-booked time slot.
Train tickets, including reserved seats on a heritage train and timed entry tickets to see Hey Duggee at The Engine House, can be booked in advance.
