A TOWN firm is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Trueline Products, a cornerstone of manufacturing in Kidderminster, is honouring team members with awards for long service and values and continues to support community initiatives such as KEMP Hospice.

Established as a family-owned business in 1994, the Firs Industrial Estate-based firm produces bespoke fabrications and EWI beads for the construction industry.

Founder and operator Steve Mares said: “Building Trueline has been an incredible journey.

“Throughout the past 30 years we’ve fostered enduring relationships, embraced loyalty and upheld our core values, all of which have propelled our growth and success. I have met some great people.

“Relationships and loyalty have always been important to me and this is how our great values have been developed and kept us growing.

“We have customers and suppliers who have been with us since the very beginning that helped to get us started.

“I have been very lucky to have a great team throughout the 30 years who have enabled Trueline to grow into the success it is.

“Trueline is a family business and the support from my wife Anita gave me the foundations and support I needed to make Trueline the incredible company it is today.

“I would like to thank everyone past and present who has supported and been a part of this journey with me.

“I look forward to the next 30 years of success and growth.”

Co-founder Anita Mares said: “As a family business, our values have been the cornerstone of our achievements.

“We are immensely proud of Trueline’s evolution and remain committed to its future growth and prosperity.”

Luke Wellings, who has worked for Trueline since his youth, said: “Witnessing Trueline’s growth over the past 30 years has been truly inspiring.

“Our team’s unwavering dedication and hard work have been instrumental in shaping Trueline into the success it is today.”

Welder Dave Hodgkins received a long service award for 25 years and business support co-ordinator Charlie Macaulay-Collins got a Community Values Award.

The firm recently invested £1 million in state-of-the-art laser machinery, underscoring its commitment to staying at the forefront of manufacturing advancements.

Beyond manufacturing, Trueline Products remains a big part of its community, supporting initiatives such as the KEMP Hospice. It has integrated the Trueline Academy which is a platform dedicated to nurturing aspiring professionals within the industry.

The firm has also become a Living Wage employer and signed the Armed Forces Covenant.

It has been honoured with the High Sheriff’s Award and recognition in Business Leader magazine’s esteemed list of the top 32 manufacturers in the UK.

It won ‘Component Supplier of the Year’ at the INCA Awards 2023 for the third consecutive year and was a finalist in the Scale-Up Awards.
