A 16-year-old boy has been charged following a stabbing in Kidderminster town centre this week.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at court today (May 16), charged with wounding with intent and having an article with a blade or point in a public place.
The charges relate to an incident on Market Street in Kidderminster at 5pm on Tuesday (May 14), where a 17-year-old boy was stabbed.
He was taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
Following his court appearance, the defendant has been remanded into youth detention accommodation until his next court appearance at Worcester Magistrates' Court on May 22.
