A splashpad at a park in Kidderminster remains closed today as the council urges children to wear swimming nappies if they are not toilet trained.
The Splashpad at Brinton Park was forced to close yesterday (Sunday, May 19) for cleaning due to health and safety reasons.
Wyre Forest District Council has now announced that the Splashpad will remain closed today (Monday, May 20) as the team check the water quality and ensure it is safe for children.
The council has also urged parents to make sure their child is wearing a swimming nappy if they are not toilet trained.
A spokesperson for Wyre Forest District Council said: "The Splashpad at Brinton Park remains closed today (Monday, May 20) whilst the team makes sure the water quality is safe.
"Please make sure you follow all of the health and safety tips when visiting. If your child is not toilet trained please use a swimming nappy."
A spokesperson for Brinton Park Heritage Fund added: "We are sorry that the splashpad remains closed today. Our team is checking the water quality to make sure it is safe for your children to play in.
"Please help us keep the splashpad clean, safe and open by following the safety tips and advice. If your child is not toilet trained, they should be wearing a swim nappy."
