A Britain's Got Talent judge broke the golden buzzer after pressing it for a teenager from Kidderminster.
Jack Smith, aged 15, is a proud member of the dance company Phoenix Boys who managed to bring Bruno Tonioli to tears during their audition on Saturday night (May 18).
The dance legend hit the golden buzzer so hard that he smashed it as he said the group reminded him of being a young male dancer.
Members of the group, who come from all over the UK, said it felt like "everything was frozen in time" and getting the golden buzzer was the most surreal and happiest moment of their lives.
Kidderminster teenager Jack Smith, who attends BOA Creative, Digital and Performing Arts Academy, said: "Performing at the London Palladium in front of the judges and thousands of people including our parents will be a memory I will cherish forever."
His proud mum, Donna Maddams-Smith said: "It was all very surreal and we didn't expect the golden buzzer. The boys all come from different dance schools and have each faced their own challenges beyond those that boys face as dancers.
"For Bruno to understand and recognise that struggle was just incredible.
"We are so proud of them and it has been lovely to see the journey that they've been on. It has helped them create truly beautiful memories and we can't wait for the live shows."
As well as attending BOA, Jack has also trained at dance schools in Kidderminster, including J's Dance Factory, with his mum hoping the experience will help open doors for other boys to dance.
She added: "The boys all work incredibly hard and they really are the best of friends. I hope their performance helps inspire other boys to get into dance and to follow their dreams."
Phoenix Boys is a nationwide dance associate programme, which currently runs in London, Manchester and Birmingham.
It provides supplementary training to budding male dancers with no audition needed to be involved.
The ethos of the company is to provide a nurturing environment for dancing boys to thrive whether it’s for a hobby or a career on stage and screen.
