A popular high-street retailer is set to close one of its stores in Kidderminster this weekend.
B&M will be shutting its shop in the Swan Centre on Saturday (May 25) as it prepares to relocate to Slingfield Mill at Weavers Wharf.
The former Debenhams site is set to offer an even bigger selection of bargains from groceries, toiletries and health and beauty to toys, homeware, and DIY.
The discount retailer has described it as "a much bigger and better site" which is only a stone's throw away from the original store at 1-6 St George's Mall.
B&M said the move comes following feedback from regular shoppers, who said they wanted a bigger shop and more products.
A spokesperson for B&M said: "The B&M Kidderminster store is moving from its current location at 1-6 St Georges Mall to its new home at Slingfield Mill.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused while we bring you a bigger and better B&M store."
B&M has signed a ten-year lease on the former Debenhams unit, site owner LCP said.
The former Debenhams shop closed for good back in 2020.
B&M has another store in Spennells which it has confirmed will remain open.
The retailer added: "We hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store, we’re really excited to get the doors open very soon."
