Bewdley residents are set to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day in a special event this week.
Bewdley Town Council will be commemorating the anniversary of D-Day during a short service at Bewdley Museum on Thursday, June 6.
The service will be led by Rev Canon Tim Williams and Rev Melissa Beynon. The event starts at 11am with guests asked to arrive by 10.30am.
Those wanting to attend should meet outside the entrance of the museum.
The town council said everyone is welcome to attend and there will be refreshments served at St Anne's Church following the service.
This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings in June 1944 with events being held across Wyre Forest to mark the occasion and remember those who fought and lost their lives.
