Train services were delayed and cancelled today after a tree fell on the line at Stourbridge.
West Midlands Railway issued a warning to travellers to expect services to be delayed between Kidderminster and Whitlocks End.
The fallen tree was reported shortly after 12pm on Friday (May 31) with Network Rail assessing the situation.
In response to the delays, West Midlands Railway said three coaches were at Stourbridge and Worcester to shuttle between both stations.
Tickets were also being accepted on buses from Stourbridge to Birmingham Snow Hill.
The tree was successfully removed shortly before 2pm.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Railway: "The tree has been removed, services will begin to run to timetable.
"Please expect residual delays as we recover the service. Rail replacement will remain as service recovers."
