Temporary traffic lights are in place on a road in Kidderminster as highway maintenance and repair work gets underway.

Multi-way signals have been set up on Sion Hill at the junction with Sion Avenue today (Wednesday, June 5) and are expected to remain there for five days.

According to the Worcestershire County Council website, there is a valid permit for the work in place until Monday, June 10.

The traffic lights have been set up in order to carry out highway repair and maintenance works.

Part of the footpath on Sion Hill will be closed whilst the work is being carried out.

Worcestershire County Council has advised motorists that delays are possible for the next few days.
