Residents have been reminded that a busy main road will close this weekend as it prepares to undergo full highway repair and maintenance work.
Staffordshire County Council has granted a permit for work to be carried out on the A449 Kidderminster Road near The Manor House of Whittington pub in Kinver.
There will be a full road closure in place on the road from the A458 Bridgnorth Road to the county boundary by Caunsall.
According to the Worcestershire County Council Highways website, the work is in place from Saturday, June 8 due to highway repair and maintenance work.
There is a valid permit until Monday, June 17 with a diversion set to be in place for the duration of the work.
Drivers should expect some delays to travel and seek an alternative route.
