Police have issued a warning to residents after two men were spotted taking photos of cars on a street in Blakedown.
West Mercia Police said two men on a black motorbike with no registration plate were seen taking photos of cars parked on driveways in Swan Close.
The men did not have helmets but were wearing balaclavas.
The incident happened at around 7.10pm this evening (Saturday, June 8).
Officers said when residents confronted the men, they said they were waiting for their bike to cool down and left the scene.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “If you have information about this or any other suspected crime, please let us know using the online ‘Tell Us About’ form on our website at www.westmercia.police.uk, quoting incident reference 689_c_08062024
“We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle.
“If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting the website at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.”
