Members of staff at Specsavers have volunteered over 150 hours of their time to renovate a school library.
The teams from three manufacturing and distribution sites based in Kidderminster, Vision Labs, Lens Online and International Glazing Services (IGS), have given their time at Birchen Coppice Primary Academy.
Between them, the businesses provide lens surfacing, and also stocks and distributes lenses and contact lenses to Specsavers.

This comes as part of the sites' pledge to volunteer 2,400 hours supporting community organisations by April 2025.
Previously lacking a library, the school has had volunteers transform an unused classroom into a new reading haven for students.
The team has also given 150 hours to paint the unused classroom, and will also assist with electrical and plumbing work.
Warehouse manager at the three Specsavers sites, Rachel Baldwin, said: "Helping the Academy has been an incredibly rewarding way to kick off our volunteering mission.
"This is a project that many of us felt really passionate about as we believe all children should have access to both books and a space to read, and it has been great to work in collaboration with teachers to create an empowering space that pupils of Birchen Coppice Primary Academy can enjoy for years to come."
In addition to the renovation, the team has been collecting food to donate to the school’s food bank, which children can access.
They also plan to donate books to the library upon completion.
