Motorists should expect delays as temporary traffic lights are set to be in place next week along a main road in Kidderminster.

A two-way traffic control system will be set up on the A451 Stourbridge Road near Heath Drive from Tuesday, June 18.

The system will be in place whilst a team from Severn Trent carries out utility repair and maintenance works in the area.

According to the Worcestershire County Council website, there is a valid permit in place for the work until Thursday, June 20.

The footway will remain open while the work is being completed by Severn Trent.

On the website, Worcestershire County Council has also advised drivers that delays are likely so they should plan ahead of any journeys or seek an alternative route.
