TRIBUTES have been pouring in for a GP surgery receptionist with a "beautiful smile" who died suddenly.

Tracey Evans has been remembered as a "bubbly" and "compassionate" member of the reception team at Church Street Surgery in Kidderminster.

The surgery announced her "sudden and unexpected" death earlier this week. She had worked at the surgery for more than eight years.

Friends and colleagues took to social media to share their tributes and messages of condolence.

Michelle Claybrooke said: "I had the pleasure of working with Tracey and the amazing reception ladies a few years ago, so kind and compassionate to everyone. Sincere condolences to Rob and family and Church Street Surgery.

Deborah Pedley said: "I had the greatest honour of working with Tracey. One of the kindest people I know. Always there with a smile, joke or helping hand. She really will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her".

Janice Wood said: "Tracey has always had such a lovely bubbly personality with a beautiful smile".

Tash Harris added: "Church Street Surgery won't be the same without her".

A spokesperson for the surgery said: “We want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our patients at Church Street Surgery, as well as the wider Wyre Forest community, for their kind messages of condolence and support following the unexpected death of Tracey, a much-loved member of our reception team. Tracey was truly devoted to her work, and her loss has been extremely difficult for us all.

“We want to send our thoughts and prayers to her husband, daughters and granddaughter, whom she loved deeply—and once again a thank you to the members of our community who have taken the time to offer their condolences for Tracey, which is a true testament to how valued she really was.”
