A care home in Kidderminster is "delighted" after being awarded a top food hygiene rating.
Hollyfields and Ivy House Care Home on Habberley Road was handed a five-star hygiene rating by the Food Standards Agency during a recent inspection on Tuesday, June 11.
Staff at the home, which is run by Barchester Healthcare, said the inspectors turned up unannounced last week and told them that there was nothing to improve.
The general manager at Hollyfields and Ivy House Care Home, Alison Moseley-Shaw, said: "We are delighted that Hollyfields and Ivy House was rated five stars following the Food Standards Agency's most recent inspection.
"The team at Hollyfields and Ivy House work so hard to ensure the home has the very best hygiene levels so it is wonderful to have everyone's hard work recognised."
