A popular hotel and wedding venue in Chaddesley Corbett has been named boutique hotel of the year.
Brockencote Hall Hotel, which is a four red star luxury hotel, was awarded the top honour at the Midlands Food, Drink and Hospitality Awards 2024.
The award scheme is now in its seventh year and celebrates hospitality businesses from across the region in 29 categories.
Brockencote Hall Hotel fought off tough competition from six other venues to take home the silverware.
Jack Hartshorne, general manager at Brockencote Hall Hotel, said: "This recent award win underlines the hard work of the whole team from our fine dining offering through to front-of-house and our interior design experts.
"We pride ourselves on our locally sourced seasonal menu, which tastes as fine as the panoramic rural views that are available from our Chaddesley Restaurant, and we are blessed to have a talented head chef in the form of Tim Jenkins.
"He has been nurturing the development of our kitchen team for over a decade."
The venue's other recent achievements, including The Chaddesley Restaurant retaining its 3 AA Rosette rating, contributed to the hotel's award success.
The kitchen team's approach to sourcing ingredients locally and sustainably for evolving seasonal menus also played an important role.
The opening of Brockencote Lodge in 2023, a former on-site gatehouse that has been transformed into a property with three luxurious bedrooms, was also listed as a key achievement over the past year.
The award win comes after the venue was recently named a regional winner and national finalist at The Wedding Industry Awards 2024.
Mr Hartshorne added: "The recent launch of a special Saturday-only menu to put a spin on traditional afternoon tea has been proving a hit with guests, and it is inventive approaches like this, along with our high standards, which helps set us apart for couples and families.
"The Brockencote Lodge is also proving to be a great asset for us, especially for bridal parties, and these luxury facilities, combined with top-class food, bode well for our long-term growth."
