Hundreds of people flocked to Kidderminster town centre over the weekend for a highly anticipated food festival. 

Crowds gathered over Saturday (June 22) and Sunday (June 23) as the Kidderminster Canal and Food Festival arrived in Weavers Wharf. 

The festival, which was organised by LSD Promotions in partnership with Kidderminster BID, was a huge success and attracted multiple food vendors and artisan stalls.

Siobhan Noakes from LSD Promotions said: "The event ran very smoothly and we were blessed with excellent weather which brought in the crowds. 

"The entertainment, including magic shows, choirs and dance groups, kept families entertained all weekend while the fantastic variety of food stalls and bars kept everyone fed and refreshed. 

"This was our first time hosting this event in partnership with Kidderminster BID and thanks to everyone who came to enjoy the weekend with us at the Kidderminster Canal and Food Festival." 

The event provided a weekend filled with delicious food and family-friendly entertainment. 

Visitors had the opportunity to explore an array of food options including mac and cheese, gourmet burgers, loaded fries, hot dogs, traditional Greek food, saffron chicken, falafel, donor kebabs, cannoli, crepes, churros, Pimms, G&T, Prosecco, cocktails, rum, and much more.

The festival also featured entertainment suitable for all ages from live performances to engaging activities for children.
