A church in Kidderminster is set to host a hustings event this week to help residents get to know their local candidates.
St Mary's Church is set to host the event on Wednesday (June 26) at 7pm with the hustings aimed at supporting the democratic process and facilitating public debate.
The church also hopes it will be the start of relationship-building between voters and candidates.
A spokesperson for St Mary's Church said: "Continuing to work with MPs between elections is crucial for building good working relationships, raising issues important to our community, and keeping them accountable."
People are invited to bring written questions or write them on the night. The questions will then be grouped into subjects.
The candidates will then have the opportunity to tell those in attendance about what they plan to do for Wyre Forest as well as focus on the issues affecting the whole of the UK.
In the past, the churches in Kidderminster have had separate hustings but this time, they have decided as the churches of Kidderminster East, West and Ismere, to join forces.
Whilst the hustings is organised by the church, it is for the whole community with everyone welcome to attend.
