Chefs at a popular hotel and wedding venue in Worcestershire have created a special new Saturday-only menu.

Brockencote Hall Hotel, which is renowned for its white tablecloth dining at the 3AA Rosette Chaddesley Restaurant, has launched a luxury two-course afternoon tea.

The menu puts a traditional spin on the traditional favourite and aims to help visitors indulge in high-quality seasonal creations devised by its talented kitchen team.

The Victorian manor house in Chaddesley Corbett boasts stunning rural views and will offer the menu every Saturday.

Jack Hartshorne, general manager at Brockencote Hall Hotel, said: "Our Sous Chef Dane Glover came up with the idea for an elevated afternoon tea to celebrate local produce while providing a creative outlet for chefs to satisfy demand for variations on afternoon tea.

"This is all about showcasing the restaurant's high standards and is designed to give foodies, people meeting for a special occasion and anyone who simply wants to treat their friends and families the chance to enjoy an afternoon tea that is truly unique and made with flair.

"It's brilliant to be giving Dane and the team the freedom to come up with a menu and bring it to life each month and we are excited to now be sharing this with the public."

The menu, which will be refreshed every month, features one savoury and one sweet course with traditional finger sandwiches and cakes swapped for elevated open-faced sandwiches and refined patisserie.

This includes a heritage tomato and carrot top pesto focaccia and raspberry and white chocolate macarons.

Brockencote Hall Hotel, which is part of the Eden Hotel Collection, is set in 70 acres of Worcestershire parkland complete with a scenic lake, tennis court and restored dovecote.
