A brand-new Greggs store has officially opened its doors in Kidderminster.
The new shop is located at the MFG Viaduct fuel station on Worcester Road and welcomed its first customers on Friday, June 28.
The news comes after a huge sign appeared outside the MFG Viaduct fuel station in May advertising the new shop and inviting residents to ask inside the Shell petrol station for information on joining the team.
MFG Viaduct is already home to McDonald's and a Londis on the site with the new Greggs set to add to the existing offerings on the forecourt.
In a previous statement confirming the news, a spokesperson for MFG said: "We are always investing in our forecourts to serve the communities in which we operate.
"We look forward to the opening of the new Greggs."
On the website, Greggs said: "Whether you fancy a freshly-ground Fairtrade coffee, a salad, a tasty pizza slice, a sandwich freshly prepared in-store or a sweet treat – we’ve got something for everyone.
"At Greggs, we may be known for our classic Sausage Rolls and Steak Bakes, but our great quality and delicious menu means that we’ve got a whole lot more covered too.
"Pop in and say 'hi' to our MFG Viaduct team - we look forward to seeing you."
The shop has joined existing Greggs branches that have already set up home in the town.
This includes Greggs in Weavers Wharf, the Swan Centre, Foley Drive, Marlpool Lane and Crown Lane.
