A motorcyclist has been left with serious injuries following a collision in Stourport.

West Mercia Police said they were called at around 6.30pm on Saturday (June 29) to reports of a motorbike that had collided with a lightly coloured motorhome on Areley Lane.

The rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital with serious injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of the motorhome failed to stop at the scene with officers being keen to speak to them.

Police are also appealing for witnesses of the collision to come forward.

A dark-coloured SUV-type car, possibly a Range Rover or Land Rover, was seen travelling along the road at the time of the collision.

Officers said they believe the occupants of that vehicle could also have information that could help with their enquiries.
