A WOMAN was rushed to hospital following a three-car crash on the Bewdley Bypass.

The A456 was partially blocked after the collision which happened on Sunday afternoon (July 7).

A woman was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, and two men were assessed by ambulance crews before being discharged.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a three-car RTC on Bewdley Bypass at 1.15pm yesterday, two ambulances attended the scene.

“On arrival we discovered three patients.

“One of whom, a woman, was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital. Two men were assessed and discharged at the scene".

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police added: “The road was partially blocked for a short time while vehicles were being recovered.

“No arrests were made”.
