Residents have been warned to expect delays along a busy main road in Kidderminster next week.

According to the Worcestershire County Council website, two-way traffic lights are set to be in place on the A451 Stourbridge Road near Broadwaters Park.

The lights will be in place on Tuesday, July 23 between 9.30am and 11.30am.

The work is only expected to last for a couple of hours and is being carried out by Severn Trent.

The traffic measures are in place to facilitate utility repair and maintenance work on the road.

The footpath is expected to remain open throughout the duration of the work.

On the website, Worcestershire County Council has advised residents that delays are likely and people should plan ahead of any journeys or seek an alternative route.
