DESPITE prohibition notices banning any construction site traffic using the section of Habberley Road from the Police Station to the Habberley Lane/Low Habberley roundabout, Bovis and its contractors are totally disregarding these notices, bringing in oversize transporters carrying massive six-wheel site dump trucks along this prohibited carriageway.
Our local councillor David Ross has been informed and the matter referred to the planning department for urgent action.
It’s about time contractors and builders like Bovis/Vistry were brought to book and made to pay for flagrant disregard of its planning consents.
This is totally unacceptable behaviour. Is this really what we are expected to tolerate for the foreseeable future, both locally and nationally?
