This year, the team are collecting for the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust (GKCCT) on behalf of Jasper Hardiman who was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in August 2022 and ended up losing his sight.

Jasper is the grandson of one of the group members with GKCCT being described as a "constant support for Jasper and his family" since his diagnosis.

Stourport Chunky Monkeys said: "GKCCT have been a constant support for Jasper and his family from the very beginning of his journey and will continue until he is an adult.

"They supply a family support pack. A huge bag full of all essentials and added extras you will need for an unexpected and extended hospital stay.

"A family support worker that’s there for the whole family, offering home and school support for siblings."

The group met at Severn's Club in Stourport at 9.30am on Friday, July 12 before stopping off at Jasper's school, Burlish Park Primary School, to see all the children and raise awareness for childhood cancer.

The event was organised by Andy Evans from Andy's Barbers and Jasper's family.

The team has also thanked several local businesses for all their help and contributions in making the sponsored bike ride a huge success.
