Police are investigating a number of drug and immigration offences following a successful operation in Alveley.
West Mercia Police SNT carried out Operation Whitebeam overnight on Tuesday (July 16) and Wednesday (July 17).
Officers from the SNTs, the Neighbourhood Crime Fighting Team, Response Officers and Road Policing officers conducted patrols throughout south Shropshire.
As well as engaging with the farming community and conducting follow-up visiting to previous victims of crime, 29 vehicles were checked during the course of the operation.
One of these came to the attention of officers in Alveley and was then stopped by specialist Road Policing Officers.
Police said a number of drug-related and immigration offences are now being investigated.
On the Neighbourhood Matters website, the SNT team said: "From information that was obtained by engaging with people and checking vehicles, three intelligence reports will be submitted to bring to the attention of other Officers two suspicious vehicles and an address where suspicious activity was witnessed."
During another engagement, a member of the public wanted to hand over some knives including a pair of Kukri knives which will now be disposed of appropriately.
Officers said the patrolling activity was able to provide a level of reassurance for those who have rural burglaries and related activity as one of their priorities.
Further combined Operations are set to take place throughout the year focusing on rural crime and other priorities highlighted by Town and Parish Councils in the area.
