A man has suffered minor injuries following a four-vehicle collision on a main road between Kidderminster and Bromsgrove.
West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to reports of a four-vehicle collision on the A448 Bromsgrove Road at around 7.59am today (Tuesday, July 23).
One ambulance attended the scene and found one patient, a man, who was the driver of one of the cars.
He was treated for minor injuries before being discharged at the scene.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a four-vehicle RTC on Bromsgrove Road at 7.59am. One ambulance attended the scene.
"On arrival, we discovered one patient, a man, who was the driver of one of the vehicles. He was treated for minor injuries before being discharged at the scene."
West Mercia Police also attended the collision and closed the A448 Bromsgrove Road in both directions for several hours whilst they dealt with the incident.
The road was closed between Chaddesley Corbett and Mustow Green with officers urging drivers to seek an alternative route.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We received a call at around 8am this morning (Tuesday, July 23) with a report of a collision on the A448 Bromsgrove Road near Chaddesley Corbett.
"Officers promptly attended the incident to find four vehicles involved.
"It is currently not thought that anybody involved has sustained serious injuries."
