A KIDDERMINSTER firm is set to open its new store at a warehouse which was previously ravaged by a severe fire
Kidderminster Roofing Supplies has relocated to a new site on Park Street Industrial Estate, which is three times larger than its previous site on Lisle Avenue.
The relocation will provide an improved roofing supplies hub for professional roofers, builders and those into DIY.
They will be opening the doors of their new site on Monday, August 5 at 7am.
The business will close the doors at the existing site on Lisle Avenue at 4.30pm on Wednesday July 31.
The new move has also required more staffing, which has provided more job opportunities to the area.
The business has experienced "significant" growth in the last few years, requiring more space and staff to fulfil the increased demand.
The site was rebuilt following a devastating fire which took place on September 8, 2021 and destroyed multiple units.
Since then planning has been approved on the site for units to be rebuilt. Although the shell of the warehouse building is still intact, work has been carried out to create new and safe premises.
Managing director Jamie Pescaglini said: “We’re over the moon to be officially opening our doors at the new site on the 5th of August.
"A lot of hard work has gone into this development and I would like to thank our hard working staff and our landlords for everything they have done to go into building this incredible new site.
"I’d also like to thank our loyal and patient customers who have been awaiting the big move.”
Kidderminster Roofing Supplies LTD was started in 2003 as a sister company to Kidderminster Roofing Contracts.
