Two men have been injured following a collision involving two lorries and a car in Kidderminster. 

West Midlands Ambulance Service said they were called to reports of a collision on Honeybrook Lane at 4.22pm yesterday (Tuesday, July 30). 

Two ambulances attended the scene where they found two patients. 

The men were both treated for injuries that were not believed to be serious. 

One was transported to Russells Hall Hospital with the other being taken to the Alexandra Hospital. 

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of an RTC involving two lorries and a car on Honeybrook Lane at 4.22pm, two ambulances attended the scene.

"On arrival, we discovered two patients, both men. They were both treated for injuries not believed to be serious.

"One was transported to Russells Hall Hospital with the other being taken to the Alexandra Hospital."

West Mercia Police and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service also attended the scene. 

The A442 Bridgnorth Road was closed at the junction of Honeybrook Lane at around 4.30pm yesterday.  

A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said two "walking wounded" casualties who were out of their vehicles were being checked over by West Midlands Ambulance Service.

They confirmed that there were no other casualties. 

The incident involved three vehicles - a HGV, low loader and a car. 

Fire engines from Wyre Forest, Droitwich and Bromsgrove were sent to the scene due to heavy vehicles being involved.

A specialist unit from Hereford was also sent to the scene, but was not needed.
