A road is set to be closed next week for highway repair and maintenance work.
According to the Worcestershire County Council website, Lax Lane in Bewdley will be closed from 9.30am on Monday, August 5.
There is a valid permit in place until Friday, August 9 at 3pm.
The work is being carried out by the Worcestershire County Council maintenance team with emergency access set to be maintained at all times.
The road is closed to allow workers to investigate a "void" in the centre of the carriageway.
The footpath is set to remain open throughout the duration of the work.
The county council has advised drivers that delays are likely whilst the work is being carried out and they should seek an alternative route.
A diversion is in place via High Street, Load Street, Severn Side South and vice versa.
