A MAN has been charged with causing unnecessary suffering to a dog, assaulting an emergency worker and criminal damage.
Jamie Cook, from Kidderminster, is set to appear in court charged with offences relating to animal cruelty,
It relates to two incidents, one on New Road and the other in the Horsefair area.
West Mercia Police confirmed the 27-year-old, of Hurcott Road, has been charged with two counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal (dog), criminal damage to a vehicle, and assault of an emergency worker.
He has been bailed with conditions, including not to own or keep another dog, and is set to appear at Worcester Magistrates Court on October 10.
