A PLAN to convert a beauty and hair salon into a residential home has been approved.
A planning application was submitted to Wyre Forest District Council to change the salon on Stourport Road into a new three-bedroom home.
The site was previously the home of the Room 7 and Euphoria hair salons.
It was given the green light by council planners on Wednesday, July 31, with the proposal meeting the criteria of a "permitted development."
Other plans Wyre Forest District Council approved last week include a single-storey rear extension to a flat roof on Stagborough Way, Stourport, the permanent siting of a mobile home for residential occupation off Worcester Road, Harvington, a replacement outbuilding and alterations to an existing garage off Church Lane, Rushock, and internally and externally lit advertisements at the White Swan in Bewdley.
