The County Council has revealed that a one-way traffic order in Bewdley will be rescinded whilst workers investigate a 'void'.
Worcestershire County Council said the one-way traffic order on Severnside South would be paused whilst a team is investigating the void on Lax Lane.
The work will take around five days to complete with a road closure on Lax Lane coming into force on Monday (August 6).
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Worcestershire County Council said: "Lax Lane, Bewdley will be closed on Monday (August 5) for up to five days for void investigation work.
"The one-way traffic order on Severnside South will be rescinded whilst Lax Lane is closed."
There is a valid permit in place until Friday (August 9) at 3pm.
The work is being carried out by the Worcestershire County Council maintenance team with emergency access set to be maintained at all times.
A diversion is in place via High Street, Load Street, Severnside South and vice versa.
