Bewdley is set to mark the end of the summer holidays by hosting a free live music event.
On Sunday, September 1, Bewdley Town Council and Wyre Forest District Council will be bringing the 'Summer Music in the Park' event to town.
The event will be held at the Green Theatre in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens located at Bewdley Museum,
Everyone is welcome to attend the free event which will start at 1.30pm.
Visitors are being encouraged to bring their own picnics, blankets and chairs to enjoy an afternoon of rhythm 'n' blues and rock 'n' roll music performed by Joe James Thomas.
A spokesperson for Bewdley Town Council said: "Supported by Wyre Forest District and Bewdley Town Council we invite you to spend time with family and friends – bring your own picnic or enjoy food and drink from the many local independent businesses that make Bewdley such a lovely place to visit.
"This is the last weekend before the kids go back to school so make the most of it."
Joe James Thomas will be performing two 45-minute sets from 1.30pm until 3.30pm.
The music is free for all to enjoy with residents invited to bring their family and friends to the park for a sing-along and dancing.
