A popular paddling pool in Stourport has reopened after it was forced to close due to vandalism.
Stourport Town Council announced that the Riverside Padding Pool had reopened today (Friday, August 9) following work to repair the damage.
The pool was closed on Monday (August 5) after it was targeted by vandals with contractors working hard to repair the pool as quickly as possible.
The town council also said that one of the disabled toilets in the riverside area is also closed due to vandalism.
They have now urged residents to help them keep the pool open for the remainder of the season which ends on Sunday, September 8.
In a statement today (Friday, August 9), a spokesperson for Stourport Town Council said: "We’re pleased to announce that the Riverside Paddling Pool has reopened after repairs following vandalism.
"Please help us to keep it open for the remainder of the season which will end on 8th September 2024."
