A popular padding pool in Stourport has been forced to close just days after reopening.
Stourport Town Council said the Riverside Paddling Pool had to be closed this afternoon (Tuesday, August 13) due to cleaning following a health and safety incident.
The town council has urged the community to help them keep the pool clean and to dispose of nappies in the bins provided.
In a post, a spokesperson for Stourport Town Council said: "Unfortunately, we have had to close the Riverside Paddling Pool this afternoon for cleaning due to health and safety reasons.
"Please help us keep the pool clean and safe and open by following the safety tips and advice.
"Please make sure all nappies are disposed of in the bins provided."
The closure comes just days after the pool reopened on Friday (August 9).
It was forced to close due to vandalism with contractors working hard to repair the pool as quickly as possible.
