Travel delays were reported in part of Stourport earlier this morning after a car was reported blocking the carriageway.
West Mercia Police said they received a report of a car blocking a lane of the carriageway on Bridge Street at around 9.05am today (Thursday, August 15).
Whilst the call handler was speaking to the member of the public on the scene, the car was moved safely out of the way.
The road was made clear again shortly after and police attendance was no longer required.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We received a report of a car blocking a lane of the carriageway on Bridge Street in Stourport at around 9.05am today.
"While the call handler was speaking to the member of the public on the scene, the car was moved safely out of the way, and the road was made clear again. Police attendance was no longer necessary."
There were reports of congestion in the area whilst the car was blocking the road with Stourport Medical Centre advising patients to allow for extra time before attending appointments.
In a post on Facebook, Stourport Medical Centre said: "If you have an appointment this morning please allow extra time. Thanks."
