POLICE have been checking for speeding along the Bewdley Bypass after the limit was recently reduced.
A new 50mph limit and 'no overtaking' order recently came into force following a safety review.
A petition was previously launched calling for changes to the A456 Bewdley Bypass following recent fatal crashes and other serious incidents on the road.
The Worcestershire County Council review, which was launched earlier this year, took place after they received views and feedback from local road users which focussed on the section of road between Clows Top through to the West Midlands Safari Park.
On Thursday (August 15), the Bewdley Safer Neighbourhood Team conducted speed enforcement on the A456.
In a post on social media, Wyre Forest Police said: "A total of 32 vehicles were checked and speeds ranged between 29mph and 52 mph so no tickets required on this occasion".
The county council has said new measures will be in place while a longer-term, permanent solution via full Traffic Regulation Order is submitted.
