Police have launched an appeal after a van was stolen in Cookley. 

Kidderminster East and North SNT said a white and blue Ford Transit recovery van was stolen without keys from Caunsall Road. 

The vehicle had a steering lock on so it is believed it was towed from the roadside. 

The incident happened between Friday, August 16 and Saturday, August 17 whilst it was parked on the roadside. 

PCSO Kate Easthope, from Kidderminster East and North SNT, said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or saw anything suspicious.

"We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle.

"If you have information about this or any other suspected crime, please let us know using the online ‘Tell Us About’ form on our website www.westmercia.police.uk, quoting incident reference 00124_I_17082024."
