Three people were injured after a car ended up on its side following a two-vehicle collision in Kidderminster.
West Mercia Police said they were called at around 11.30am today (Wednesday, August 21) to reports of a collision on the A448 between Butts Lane and Stanklyn Lane in Stone.
Officers attended the scene along with crews from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service.
The collision involved two cars with the fire service confirming that one of the cars had been on its side but was put back on four wheels by a member of the public.
There were three female casualties who were handed over to the care of the ambulance service.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – one each from Wyre Forest and Bromsgrove Fire Stations – were called at 11.30am on August 21 to an RTC involving two vehicles in Stone.
"Both vehicles were on all four wheels, however, one had been on its side and was righted by a member of the public before the arrival of the fire service.
"Both vehicles were made safe and three female casualties were handed over to the care of the ambulance service who attended along with police."
The road was partially blocked for a couple of hours whilst the vehicles were being recovered.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service added: "We were called at 11.27am to reports of a two-car RTC at the junction of Butts Lane and the A448, Stone, Kidderminster.
"One ambulance was on the scene assessing three patients."
