Three Specsavers outlets in Kidderminster and Stourport helped raise £250 to help the blind and partially sighted by turning customer feedback into donations.

In partnership with Specsavers Droitwich, the stores on High Street, Stourport and in Kidderminster's Swan Centre and Sainsbury's, donated £1 to The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) for each completed customer feedback survey.

The initiative has been hailed a success with £250 raised in its first month.

As a result, the stores are extending the scheme until the end of September in hopes of raising more funds for the RNIB.

Customers who visit these stores are given an emailed feedback form post-visit.

Both helping to improve services via important insights and raising charity money are achieved with every completed form.

Emma Singh, store director at all three outlets, expressed her satisfaction with the initiative saying: "We are always looking to our valued customers for feedback that highlights exceptional service, as well as helping us to make improvements so that we can continue to provide the best care we possibly can.

"We are committed to changing lives through better sight and making expert care accessible and affordable to all, so we are pleased to be able to donate funds to the RNIB.

"We’d like to encourage as many people as possible to visit any of our three stores to leave us some feedback and help a good cause at the same time."

The RNIB, being the UK’s leading sight loss charity, provides practical and emotional support to blind and partially sighted people along with their families and caregivers.

To contribute, customers can visit the Specsavers stores at 2 Coventry Street, Kidderminster, Sainsbury’s, Kidderminster, or 45 High Street, Stourport-on-Severn.
