A road in Bewdley is set to be closed for up to five days later this month.
According to the Worcestershire County Council website, High Street will be closed from its junction with Load Street to its junction with Lax Lane.
The closure will be in place from Monday, September 16 to ensure scaffolding can be safely put up and dismantled for roof repairs.
There is a valid permit in place until Friday, September 20.
The footpath will remain open throughout the duration of the work and emergency service access will be maintained at all times.
Residents will also be able to access any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access.
Delays are likely whilst the work is being completed and there is a diversion in place via Load Street, Welch Gate, Winbrook, Cleobury Road, Long Bank, Clows Top Road, Stockton Road, Stourport Road, Dunley Road, Ribbesford Road, Red Hill and vice versa.
