A drama group from Kidderminster is set to stage a concert of musical theatre hits this month.
Kidderminster Operatic and Dramatic Society will bring the concert to The Rose Theatre for two nights on Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21.
Following the success of its most recent sell-out show, The Hunchback of Notre Dame back in March, the concert titled "Broadway to Broadwaters" will give the members a chance to perform a variety of musical theatre songs they wouldn’t ordinarily get the opportunity to showcase.
The concert will feature a mixture of group and solo numbers from shows including Little Shop of Horrors, Shrek and Wicked as well as traditional favourites like My Fair Lady, Les Misérables and Oliver.
The show has been put on in a change to the group's annual play in the hope of attracting new members ready for their next musical production "Legally Blonde", which will begin rehearsals at the end of October.
The show is on for two nights with tickets available from The Rose Theatre box office by calling 01562 743745 or by visiting www.rosetheatre.co.uk
