A hit BBC show is set to come to the Kidderminster area next month.

DIY SOS, starring Nick Knowles, is set to come to town between Wednesday, October 23 and Wednesday, October 30. 

The team are now urging traders, contractors, volunteers and suppliers to get in touch to help with the latest project. 

In a post on Facebook, DIY SOS said: “Kidderminster we have an announcement.

“DIY SOS is coming to Kidderminster between Wednesday, October 23 and Wednesday. October 30 2024. 

“We want to hear from all trades, contractors, volunteers and suppliers. 

“Get in touch with us at DIYSOSKidderminster@southshore.uk with your trade & availability. 

“Come along, get involved and help make a difference. We’ll see you there.”

The show has helped transform the homes and lives of many people across Britain over the years and relies on the generosity and time of tradespeople and volunteers. 

Those who work on the show have said the build will take place in Bewdley but they are urging people from larger nearby towns like Kidderminster and the surrounding areas to get involved.

The briefing will take place on Wednesday, October 2 with the reveal date set for Thursday, October 31.
