An air ambulance was spotted landing in a park in Kidderminster over the weekend.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was called to a medical emergency on Castle Road at around 3.08pm on Saturday (September 7).
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a BASICS doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford were sent to the scene.
Eyewitnesses said they saw the air ambulance land in Brinton Park.
An off-duty paramedic also stopped at the scene to offer assistance to the ambulance crews.
The ambulance service said one man was found in a serious condition but after treatment from ambulance staff, he decided that he did not want to go to hospital and was discharged at the scene.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a medical emergency on Castle Road at 3.08pm on Saturday.
"Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a BASICS doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene. An off-duty paramedic also stopped at the scene to offer assistance.
"On arrival, we discovered one patient, a man, who was in a serious condition. Following treatment from ambulance staff, the man decided he did not want to go to hospital, so was discharged at the scene."
