A production of an all-time favourite BBC sitcom is coming to Chaddesley Corbett.
Performing arts company Tinkers Farm, based in Halesowen, is set to stage 'The Vicar of Dibley' at Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall.
The company, which rehearses twice a week, have been putting on shows for over 70 years.
Following their adaptation of 'Allo Allo' last year, the production company has decided to tackle yet another beloved BBC comedy.
The story follows new vicar Geraldine Granger as she stirs up the quiet village of Dibley.
The script has incorporated notable moments from the first two series of the original show.
The company has said that the casting panel received a ton of applications from aspiring actors wanting to be members of the cast, and that its final selections embody the sitcom's memorable characters.
In addition to the cast, the set crew are working to capture the essence of early 90's Dibley in their bespoke set design for the village hall stage.
The venue is described as an ideal venue with an atmosphere that allows the audience to feel part of the act.
Half of the available tickets have already been sold.
Tickets can be bought online at www.seaty.co.uk/vicar or by calling 07943 579 553.
The production will take to the stage on Wednesday, October 23 from 7:30pm.
